Cities and towns in the region have suffered severe damage, leading to mass displacement and humanitarian challenges.
Affected Cities and Towns in Zaporizhzhia Region
- Orikhiv – Nearly 80% of the city has been destroyed due to constant shelling, leaving homes, schools, and hospitals in ruins.
- Huliaipole – A historic town severely damaged, with most residential buildings and key infrastructure devastated.
- Polohy – Endured extensive destruction, with large parts of the town becoming uninhabitable.
- Vasylivka – Repeatedly targeted, resulting in widespread damage to residential and public facilities.
- Tokmak – Heavily affected by ongoing hostilities, with significant damage to homes and infrastructure.
- Zaporizhzhia City – The regional capital has suffered multiple missile strikes, damaging residential buildings, power stations, and bridges.
